Daily CSU COVID-19 Updates

 Past 24 Hours

  • Remote learning will begin Monday, March 23. Please go to CSU’s Keep Learning website for the latest information and available resources. If you have any tech support needs, please contact the IT Help Desk at 216-687-5050. For all other issues please contact Campus 411 at 216-687-5411.
  • As a reminder, the final day for move-out from CSU residence halls is Sunday, March 22. Detailed information on the move-out process, including alternatives for those unable to meet the deadline, can be found on the Residence Life website.
  • Students with academic concerns or questions should contact their professors. In the event they are unable to reach their professor, back-up contacts for each college are available to assist. Contact information can be found here.
  • To provide students more time given current circumstances, CSU has extended the last day to withdraw from spring 2020 regular session courses from March 27 to April 24. As always, students should weigh the impact of withdrawal on their progress toward graduation and financial aid eligibility. The spring 2020 academic calendar has been updated with the new deadline.
  • Students with lockers in Berkman Hall were contacted by email today to schedule a time to retrieve any needed academic materials, while maintaining appropriate social distancing. Plans are being developed for students with lockers elsewhere. This is only to retrieve academic materials (books, notes, etc). Lockers with other contents do NOT need to be emptied at this time. Do not come to campus to empty your locker except as directed and only if you need academic materials for your courses.

  • What is social distancing and why is it important?
Social distancing is the practice of maintaining a greater than usual physical distance, the recommendation is at least six feet, from other people during the outbreak of a contagious disease in order to minimize exposure and reduce the transmission of infection. The CDC is urging all citizens to practice social distancing to assist in reducing the spread of COVID-19. You can learn more about how to protect yourself here.
