Cleveland State University

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff:

In an ongoing effort to maintain the health and safety of the CSU community and in response to the evolving CoVID-19 outbreak, Cleveland State University will be taking the following additional actions:

  • Remote learning will continue beyond April 10th through the end of the semester, May 8, which includes final exam week.
    • Remote delivery of classes will commence Monday, March 23, as previously announced.
    • Faculty are reaching out to students this week to provide them with information on how to access remote learning. Information will be forthcoming about exam week.
  • Dormitory move-out will be tightly controlled to avoid crowds and completed by Sunday, March 22.
    • Details of this process will be communicated directly to residential students tonight and posted at the Residence Life website.
    • Students who do not have access to off-campus housing will be allowed to remain, and the university will continue to provide meals and other services for them.
  • Commencement ceremonies for both CSU and the Cleveland-Marshall School of Law are postponed.
    • New dates will be announced when available.
    • The delay of commencement ceremonies does not affect the dates of degree conferral, which remain unchanged.
    • Special arrangements for seniors needing to complete clinical placements for certification or licensure programs, or other specialized degree requirements, will be communicated separately to those students.
