Congratulations to Principal Investigator and Teacher Education Department Chair Dr. Debbie Jackson on securing a $2 million grant from the National Science Foundation for The Cleveland Tech Talent Pipeline project beginning November 2020 through October 2024. Dr. Brian Harper of the Curriculum and Foundations Department and Dr. Chansu Yu from the Washkewicz College of Engineering are CO-PI's on the project. Read More

 
Dr. Adam Voight secures $1.4 million in grant funding for Youth Participatory Action Research in the Secondary Curriculum   College of Education and Human Services welcomes four faculty members to Julka Hall

Congratulations to Principal Investigator Dr. Adam Voight on securing grant funding of $1.4 million from July 2020 through June 2024 to conduct research on Youth Participatory Action Research in the Secondary Curriculum. Dr. Molly Buckley will serve as Co-PI on the project which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education. Dr. Elena Andrei selected for 2020 TESOL Leadership Mentoring Program Award   Dr. Dakota King-White named 2020 Counselor Educator of the Year

Congratulations to Dr. Elena Andrei, assistant professor of TESOL and TESOL program coordinator, on being selected for the 2020 TESOL Leadership Mentoring Program Award. Dr. Katie Clonan-Roy collaborates on research examining leadership of Girls of Color   Dr. Joanne Goodell secures grant funding of $1 million for ADVANCE Adaptation: Achieving Excellence and Equity through Academic Leadership Development

Dr. Katie Clonan-Roy has collaborated on research over the past couple years on a national study examining the leadership of Girls of Color. Congratulations to Dr. Joanne Goodell who is serving as Co-Principal Investigator on ADVANCE Adaptation: Achieving Excellence and Equity through Academic Leadership Development. The project has secured nearly $1 million in grant funding from the National Science Foundation beginning November 2020 through October 2023. Dr. Goodell is the Director for the CSU Center for Faculty Excellence. Read More

 
Dr. Doug Wajda secures $75,000 in grant funding   Outstanding Student Teachers honored from Class of 2020

Congratulations to Dr. Doug Wajda of the Health and Human Performance Department who is serving as CO-PI on Detecting Arch Instability in Charcot Neuropathy. The project, sponsored by Innovative Scientific Solutions Inc and National Institutes of Health, has secured $75,000 in grant funding through July 2021. Read More
