Dear Student:

I wanted to give you an update on what we are doing regarding the coronavirus and our CSU community. First, please know that nothing is more important to us than the health and welfare of our CSU family. Second, the university is open at this time. If that should change for any reason – we will keep you and our community informed immediately.

Today, it was announced that there are three cases of coronavirus in Cuyahoga County. As of now, we have no known cases of the virus on campus or anyone related to the university. We will inform you of any changes that impact CSU. We are following the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and are also in close contact with local and state health and governmental authorities.

We take the responsibility of keeping our CSU family safe extremely seriously. We will continue to keep you informed. There is a great deal of good information about coronavirus, the current situation, and recommendations to keep yourself healthy:

If you still have questions, please email them to coronavirusquestions@csuohio.edu and we will work to get answers for you. On behalf of the entire university community, I wish you a restful Spring Break and look forward to seeing you on campus on your return,

Sincerely,

Jianping Zhu
