Dear Faculty & Staff:

Annual and Fall 2020 Semester Parking Permits
Annual parking permits for FY21 are currently on sale and permits for the Fall 2020 Semester go on sale Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 9:00 am. Permit sales are online only and permits will be mailed to the address on file. The Parking Office is NOT open for walk-in purchases at this time. Before attempting to purchase a parking permit, please make sure you have your vehicle(s) information ready. The University will resume payroll deductions on annual permits when campus reopens or employees have been instructed to return to campus.

Virtual Pay-As-You-Go Permits
Due to reduced on-campus courses in Fall 2020, a virtual permit has been created allowing faculty and staff to enter any of the gated garages with their CSU ID. When leaving, faculty and staff will swipe their ID and be prompted to pay a $6.00 flat rate. Payment is required to exit the garage. Payment options include Visa, Mastercard, and cash. To be able to utilize this new parking option, faculty and staff must purchase the Virtual Pay-As-You-Go permit on the Parking website. There is no cost for this virtual permit, except for the $6.00 rate for each exit. Vehicle(s) must be registered to the permit. Please note this option is not valid at non-gated parking garages or surface lots.

Lot 71 Daily Permit
A new parking lot with 80 spaces available has been leased on the corner of Prospect Avenue and E. 24th Street, across from the Euclid Commons, to provide additional parking options for students, faculty and staff. One-day permits are available for purchase for $6.00 per day and can be purchased via the CSU GO Online Parking System. The permits will be valid only at Lot 71 located at 2450 Prospect Avenue.

  • Permits can be purchased up to 10 days in advance
  • No more than 5 permits can be active at a time
  • Permits must be printed and clearly displayed when parked in Lot 71 for the day it is valid
  • Permits are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged or returned
  • Permits are only valid from 5:00 am to 11:59 pm on the date selected during purchase
  • Permits are non-transferrable and must be displayed in the registered vehicle
  • Daily permits are limited in quantity

All permits will be available online only at the CSU GO Online Parking Portal. Please log in with your CSU ID and CampusNet password; do not create a visitor account. Employees will need to purchase their own parking permit; permits and IDs cannot be shared or used by anyone other than the registered permit holder. Please note the $10.00 administration fee applied to any permit returns has been waived for the Fall 2020 semester. Internet Explorer is the required internet browser when purchasing online.
