Cleveland State University Office of the President

Dear Faculty and Staff,

To advance our continuing commitment to limit community spread of COVID-19, and consistent with our in-process transition to remote teaching and learning, CSU is directing employees to work remotely from Wednesday, March 18, though Friday, April 10. During this period, the University will remain fully open, and offices that require on-site personnel will continue to be staffed. This new workforce flexibility reinforces our resolve to limit health risk from COVID-19 to the CSU community — and the Cleveland community at large — while maintaining our focus on delivering on our Engaged Learning promise in these challenging times.

CSU senior administrators (Deans/VPs) will be communicating with their respective colleges/units over the next several days to outline how we will transition to a remote staffing environment, determine appropriate staffing schedules, identify mission-critical employees that may be required to be on campus and set expectations for those working remotely.
